HELP KIDS LIKE PRESTON!

At just four years old, Preston’s childhood changed when he was diagnosed with leukemia, bringing fear, isolation, and uncertainty for his whole family. But through camp, Preston rediscovered joy, friendship, and confidence, while his sister Charleigh found comfort and connection with others who understood. Together, they experienced something cancer had taken away: belonging and childhood joy. This month, your gift will be doubled to help more families like Preston’s find hope, connection, and moments that matter.

Join us for the 2026 Ride of Courage July 10-12, cycling through the breathtaking foothills of Water Valley, Alberta. With four ride options, every cyclist can take in this ride! Whether you’re here for the challenge, the community, or the cause, this is a ride you won’t want to miss.

60 kids and parents benefitting from 130 hours of care and support with our registered social worker and child life specialist.

1,847 tutoring hours

75 kids benefitting from 1,847 hours of customized tutoring support.

622 school kids

622 learning about cancer and developing compassion for children with cancer through Cancer in the Classroom.  

19 teens giving back

19 teens volunteering and raising funds to support health care initiatives for underserved communities in Mexico.

1,500 kids and parents registering for our programs and services.

18,051 volunteer hours

394 volunteers giving 18,051 hours, saving us $487,377 or the equivalent of 9 full-time positions.

376 exercise hours

95 kids benefitting from 376 hours of exercise, managing the effects of cancer and restoring strength and fitness levels.
