what's your story?

what's your story?

A team of University of Calgary researchers are looking for children and young adults between 8 and 30 to participate in a research study on the power of digital storytelling for cancer patients and survivors. Using pictures, video, music, participants will create a digital story (mini-movie) to tell their cancer journey. run with your heart, not with your legs

run with your heart, not with your legs

On Sunday, May 31, Kids Cancer Care and the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon are teaming-up for another exciting year. Because of runners and walkers like you, in 2014, we raised more than $8,000 to support the children and families at the heart of our organization. We would love to see you setting new personal bests and crushing your fitness goals at the 2015 Calgary Marathon and it would be an honour if you chose Kids Cancer Care as your charity of choice.

For Edyn

For Edyn

Edyn fought a courageous battle with brain cancer, but passed away at the beginning of the school year. Inspired by the kind, fun-loving girl, who was wise beyond her years, the students in Edyn’s homeroom class decided to do something meaningful in her name. They decided to shave their heads in Edyn’s name and raise money for Kids Cancer Care to help other kids with cancer. The shave will take place April 17th. For more information or to donate to the shave, click here.
