Get a Great Clips Cut

August 22 to September 18, 2020

Get your back-to-school haircut at a Great Clips salon and you can help kids affected by childhood cancer! Customers who donate three dollars or more during the Great Clips' Back-to-School Kindle Bug Campaign will receive a coupon for three dollars off their next haircut! The fundraising campaign takes place at Great Clips salons in southern Alberta (Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie, Okotoks, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat) from August 22 through September 18, 2020 in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Funds raised through the Back-to-School Kindle Bug Campaign will go to Kids Cancer Care’s programs for children with cancer and their families. Now in it's third year, the Back-to-School Kindle Bug Campaign has raised $36,000 for Kids Cancer Care.

Bereaved families, please email Kim with a few photos and/or short video of your child that we can add to the slideshow.

CureFest Calgary

Saturday, September 26
Virtual

Pediatric cancer doesn't stop during a pandemic and neither do we. This year, CureFest Canada is partnering with CureFest USA to host a live webcast event along with a series of community-based walks, video tributes and candlelight vigils. While there will be no large gatherings in Canada or the US, this year's virtual event has the potential to be the widest-reaching CureFest in its eight-year history.
