Post High School Preparation

Preparing teens for life

Our Education Support team helps teens affected by childhood cancer prepare for life after high school, exploring opportunities in education, employment and other areas.

Each fall, we offer an event to help youth in grades 9 through 12 explore options in the areas of education and employment after high school.

Topics include the following:

  1. Exploring post-secondary opportunities including education, employment, and maximizing a gap year.
  2. Applying to post-secondary educational institutes.
  3. Preparing to join the work force.
  4. Discovering tips on applying for scholarships.
  5. Connecting to community resources.
