Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a leadership program that trains youth to become camp leaders and camp counsellors, while teaching valuable life skills such as preparedness, positive role modelling, time management and social skills. During the first week, participants go through a number of sessions intended to help them develop their skills and knowledge as camp leaders. During the second week, the LDPs are integrated in a camper team to get hands-on experience as leaders. The LDPs are supported by the LDP coordinators and the rest of the Camp Kindle program team.
