volunteer opportunities
Volunteers are active on the frontlines and behind the
scenes at Kids Cancer Care. Whether you’re looking for a long-term or
short-term commitment, enjoy working with children or prefer
the allure of special events, Kids Cancer Care has a place for you.
Volunteer in our Camp and Community programs, at
our Fundraising Events, or
Administration. Check out the area that best interests you!
Listen closely and you’ll hear the squeal of children
laughing and the snap of campfire crackling. Summer
camp is balm for ailing young spirits. It offers kids
with cancer a chance to escape the rigors and isolation
of cancer treatments for a week of outdoor adventure.
When summer is over, our year-round community programs
take kids and parents on monthly forays into the world
of arts and recreation, where they rekindle friendships
from the summer and find the support they need all year
long. Be the volunteer behind the laughter. Join us this
summer or throughout the year at our Camp & Community programs.
A variety of unique roles and experiences await you:

Fundraising events makes things happen at Kids Cancer Care.
They help raise vital funds to send kids to camp,
set valuable research in motion, improve the
quality of patient care and make scholarships
possible for cancer survivors. Volunteers are
key to successful fundraising events. Without
them, many of our events would not take place.
