our spokeskids

Each year, KCCFA chooses official spokeskids to help put a face to childhood cancer and the Foundation. Our spokeskids help raise awareness about childhood cancer and our work by representing the Foundation at fundraising events in Alberta.
 

Sean Gille, 2009 spokeskid Shawn is a 16-year-old high school student who loves rocks and karate. When Shawn was eight years old, he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. More

Laura Sadler, 2009 spokeskid Laura Sadler is a 16-year-old grade-11-student at Webber Academy. She is on the student council and plays badminton singles for the school team. Laura enjoys debate club and participates in intra-school competitions. More
