Christine Wandzura, founder and chief executive officer of KCCFA, married Calgary alderman Ric McIver on Saturday, March 27, 2010 in a quiet ceremony at Heritage Pointe Golf Course. A collection of close friends and family joined the happy couple at the ceremony and reception. Christine has changed her last name to McIver. She and Ric asked that in lieu of wedding gifts guests make donations to the Derek Wandzura Memorial Scholarship fund. This endowed fund is named in honour of Christine’s late son who is the inspiration behind the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. To make a donation to the scholarship fund, click here.
