1.
Make a donation
Make a gift to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation
of Alberta (KCCFA).
2. Double your giving
When making a gift to KCCFA, find out if your
company has a matching gift program to double
the impact of your gift.
3.
Join our monthly giving club
Sign up to make monthly donations and help
finance the next wave in cancer research.
Monthly donations from your bank account or
credit card are convenient and, over time, will
amount to a significant gift.
4.
Provide a fitting memorial
Is there someone special you’d like to remember?
Maybe a friend or relative who is no longer
living? Give this person special recognition
with a gift in their name. We’ll mail a card to
the family and let them know you made a gift in
honour of their loved one.
5.
Leave a legacy or gift in your estate
Giving from the heart brings meaning, dignity
and purpose to a life well-lived. Your gift
provides an opportunity to support the
Foundation, so our work may continue long after
you’re gone. Speak to your financial advisor
about leaving a bequest for KCCFA. |
6.
Shave Your Lid for a Kid®
Lose your hair and show support for kids
who lose theirs during cancer treatment.
Motivate your friends and colleagues,
collect pledges and we’ll shave your
lid.
7.
Support a KCCFA fundraising
event
Events need people! Ride a motorbike,
swing a golf club or dance at a gala.
It’s all fun and it helps the kids.
8.
Plan your own fundraising
event
Run 10K, hold a car wash, plan an art
auction, dance for 24 hours, canoe
across a lake, bake cookies or flip
pancakes. There are countless ways to
raise money for KCCFA and each
fundraising event makes a difference.
9.
Volunteer your time
Volunteers are at the heart of KCCFA.
Whether you enjoy working with children,
prefer the allure of special event
planning or the quiet of an office, we
have a place for you.
10. Spread the word
Our greatest resource is you—our
dedicated community of supporters. Tell
your friends, family and colleagues
about KCCFA’s work to help families
touched by childhood cancer. |
