KCCFA’s Clinical Support program ensures that the
oncology ward at the Alberta Children’s Hospital is
equipped with the latest innovations in medical
technology. With support from KCCFA, the hospital
purchased two quad IV pumps, which dispense four
different medications at once. This specialized pump
is crucial for bone marrow transplant procedures.
KCCFA also helps outfit hospital rooms with toys,
computers and reliner chairs for parents sleeping at
their child’s best side. With outstanding medical
personnel and expertise, equipment and technology
give Alberta children and families the comfort and
care they need to make their cancer journey. |
