Shave Your Lid for a Kid® is
KCCFA’s largest fundraising initiative, raising more
than $5.5 million since its inception in 1998. Our
shave program is successful because of you—our
dedicated community friends. Each year, hundreds of
Albertans shave their heads for our kids. This bold
move shows moral support for the more than 100
Alberta kids who lose their hair each year due to
cancer treatments. KCCFA’s shave program raises
vital funds for cancer research and in-hospital
programs. It helps create amazing experiences at
camp and education opportunities through our
scholarship fund. So
whether you plan your own shave,
take part in a larger group shave or
pledge a shavee, you are part of a growing
movement that is changing the face of childhood
cancer.
