Welcome to Camp
Kindle
Camp Kindle is fully owned and operated by the Kids
Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta (KCCFA). The camp
is located in the Foothills just outside Water
Valley and serves two major user-groups:
Alberta
families affected by childhood cancer
We provide free camp programs year-round for Alberta
children
and families facing childhood cancer. For

Community groups (school,
music, arts, environmental or corporate groups)
We also provide customized programs and/or facility
rentals to
community groups

Camp Kindle is situated on 160 acres just outside
Water Valley about 80 kilometers northwest of
Calgary and 280 kilometers south of
Edmonton.
Located in the Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve, Camp
Kindle features a quaint
pond
surrounded by rolling
pasture
and dense
forest.
The camp offers ample
room for indoor and outdoor activities with
bunkhouses,
staff and
volunteer residences, a
music hall,
craft cottage, rustic
get-away
cabin,
campfire pit and
barn and stables. It also features a
baseball diamond, soccer field, a pond for canoeing
and ice-skating and miles of hiking and x-country
skiing trails.
Camp Kindle comes fully
loaded and staffed with a fulltime camp manager,
maintenance person, kitchen and seasonal program
staff.
