childhood cancer awareness month
“Little by little, a little becomes a lot.” ~
Tanzanian Proverb
This September, for the second year, the Kids Cancer Care
Foundation of Alberta is joining pediatric cancer groups
across North America to draw attention to the tragedy of
childhood cancer. We’re inviting you to join us in this
growing movement and to do just ONE thing in the fight
against childhood cancer.
Whether you decide to
volunteer your time,
Shave Your Lid for a Kid , sign on as a
monthly donor or
host your own fundraising event, by doing just one thing in September, you’re showing
children with cancer and their families they’re not alone.
Many individuals and businesses in Alberta have already
stepped up and joined the movement. They’re cheering on the
Stampeders at the Labor Day Classic and texting to donate,
they’re enjoying their own frozen yogurt creation at
Menchie’s Smile Day, pedaling in the Indy Bike Challenge,
joining our first-ever city-wide community shave and they’re
having fun doing it!
Do one thing this September and be a part of a community
that cares. To find out what’s going on this September and
how you can get involved, click here
