Camp Kindle Capital Campaign
Kids Cancer Care embarked on a fundraising campaign in 2010
to raise $8 million to pay for the purchase of Camp Kindle
and to complete upgrades to make it suitable for children
with cancer. Construction began in the fall of 2011 and is
scheduled to be finished in time for the summer of 2012. The
project includes:

Upgrading
existing buildings, roadways and infrastructure
Renovations to several existing buildings and upgrades
to the camp roadways and infrastructure will make Camp
Kindle more accessible for children with disabilities,
ensure a safe water supply and a more hygienic
environment for sick children and bring the camp
up to current building codes.

New buildings
A new medical centre, dining hall, volunteer lodge
and two camper dorms will be built.

Recreation
A swimming pool, state-of-the-art ropes course, double
zip line and climbing wall will make Camp Kindle an
adventurous and challenging get-away for kids. |
