Camp Kindle Capital Campaign

Kids Cancer Care embarked on a fundraising campaign in 2010 to raise $8 million to pay for the purchase of Camp Kindle and to complete upgrades to make it suitable for children with cancer. Construction began in the fall of 2011 and is scheduled to be finished in time for the summer of 2012. The project includes:

Upgrading existing buildings, roadways and infrastructure
Renovations to several existing buildings and upgrades to the camp roadways and infrastructure will make Camp Kindle more accessible for children with disabilities, ensure a safe water supply and a more hygienic environment for sick children and bring the camp up to current building codes.

New buildings
A new medical centre, dining hall, volunteer lodge and two camper dorms will be built.

Recreation
A swimming pool, state-of-the-art ropes course, double zip line and climbing wall will make Camp Kindle an adventurous and challenging get-away for kids.
