2012 Ride for a lifetime
June 22 - 24, 2012
Four-year-old Karlee and her big brother
Ryley were up early Friday morning, June 24, to send off 55
motorcyclists on the 2011 Ride for a Lifetime. The Lewis
kids were there to cheer on the motorcyclists as they headed
out on a three-day motorcycle ride through the Canadian
Rockies.
The bikers enjoyed VIP treatment,
unbeatable camaraderie and maximum fun the entire weekend,
while raising over $150,000 to send children with cancer to camp.
Friday night at the Hillcrest saw the
bikers competing in a Minute to Win It challenge, emceed by
Steve the Grunt of
CJAY and Dustin Collins of
Classic
Country. Saturday evening featured a Grammy-style Hoggie Awards hosted by Hollywood’s very own Rene Mauve
Toupee. A posh, red carpet affair, the awards ceremony had
the bikers scrambling for black ties and boas just minutes
before walking the red carpet and greeting their adoring
fans and paparazzi.
The Ride for a Lifetime is a Kids
Cancer Care signature event made possible by our generous
riders, sponsors and donors.
